Exploring the area
Horth Hill is a 36-hectare park on the northern end of the Saanich Peninsula. The park offers stunning views of Satellite Channel, the Saanich Peninsula, and the Gulf Islands.
Horth Hill features some of the oldest rock on Vancouver Island. About 15,000 years ago, glaciers moved over this area, shaping the land and leaving behind rounded hills called monadnocks.
